New page

{{DISPLAYTITLE: {{SUBPAGENAME}}}}

This file defines how an electrolyzer system degrades in response to cycling. This is independent from calendar degradation.

The file contains two columns:
* Power Fluctuation (%) - The rainflow counting algorithm in DER-VET's degradation module will bin cycles into bins of similar depth of power fluctuation. These bins are defined by this column. Enter the upper limit for each bin here. If the smallest number is 0.33, then the bin will represent all cycles with a depth of discharge between 0% and 33%. If the next number is 40, that bin will represent cycles between 33% and 40% depth of power fluctuation.
* Cycle Life Value (cycles) - How many cycles can the electrolyzer system withstand at the specified depth of power fluctuation until replacement is required? The replacement condition is when the SOH reaches 0%.
