For the past several years, EPRI’s Energy Storage and Distributed Generation Program has been collecting and updating an internal database on the available energy storage equipment, both components and complete systems, to support EPRI members in planning demonstration projects and to support energy storage testing and analytical work. The Customer Energy Storage Product Database offers a compilation of key published information on the available systems and their providers in a flexible, dynamic, intuitive framework for learning and discovery.

This web-based, wiki-style database will be updated in cooperation with EPRI members and product providers. The EPRI team is open to inputs from manufacturers, testing agencies, regulatory bodies, standards-developing organizations, and utility customers. The initial database design allows as much capability for information-gathering as possible.

Energy storage providers differ widely on the level of detail they are comfortable providing publicly, such as specifications sheets offered on product websites. As a result, the degree of detail seen in this database varies similarly. The discrepancy in detail between companies and products is common place across any industry. Over time, it is expected that more providers will provide deeper detail on product specifications in order to compete effectively in the open market.

This parent page will has a table of various energy storage vendors and providers, along with some product information for each vendor. It is accessible to all P94 Project Set members.

Product Database

The database is organized by technology providers and the products they offer. The P94 team is constantly adding to and updating the database with new, updated, and relevant information and systems to mention and take not of. To see the products that exist in the Product Database for a given vendor, click on the link provided in the "Products in Database" column.

If you would like to see a vendor or product added to this database, please reach out to Erin Minear and Dave Stevens.
