Description: At 3:55 p.m. on the 12th, a fire of unknown cause broke out at a solar power generation facility in Jangsu-myeon, Yeongju. The ESS was on standby after charging. The fire occurred in a 33-square-meter sandwich panel building housing an Energy Storage System (ESS), and all 374 lithium-ion batteries installed in the ESS were burned, causing property damage estimated at 702.25 million won by the fire department. The fire was extinguished within an hour.
